An Alpha course is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, informal environment. Held over 10 weekly sessions and attended by non Churchgoers as well as those more familiar with church, the Alpha course attracts those who want to investigate whether God exists, what the point of life is, and what Christians really believe.
We run this course throughout the year – the times of day and locations vary, but we always have food! After a meal, we have a presentation about an aspect of Christianity followed by a bit of a chat around the issues it raises. It is all very informal and relaxed!
Some of the topics we investiage are: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? Why & How do I pray? Does God Heal Today? What About the Church? and How Can I Make The Most of The Rest of My Life?
